A Nose Job without Surgery…How is that possible?

The importance of a well-balanced nose cannot be overemphasized. As one of the most prominent features of the face, the nose is essential for facial harmony and a positive self-image.

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting with a patient that was moving to Los Angeles to break into acting. She had always been self-conscious about her nose.
She complained of a deviated septum and she told me of a desire to have a
sleek stream-lined look which would help her be more photogenic. The consultation moved to discussing the advantages of her having a non-surgical rhinoplasty which I explained is a non-invasive procedure that can have profound effects on filling in volume loss and deficits of the nose. It also creates the illusion that the nose is actually smaller.
After our consultation, she felt completely lined up to move ahead with a non-surgical rhinoplasty.
The patient returned a couple of days later, after having stopped her blood-thinning supplements, like fish oil to minimize bruising. This patient was extremely excited that she could finally have the look she always longed for without the expense and down-time of surgery. I proceeded to apply numbing cream to her lovely nose after taking some before photos. After about 15 minutes of numbing, we began the 20-minute procedure using a hyaluronic-acid based filler called Juvederm Ultra Plus XC.
Non-surgical rhinoplasties are an art, which is why I feel so passionate about them! There is a lot of creativity involved and every nose is different. Once the filler was strategically placed for this gal’s nose, though, the transformation became stunning. I handed my patient the mirror so she could admire her new nose…. She began crying happy tears! Her entire life she had wanted this result to be her reflection
in the mirror. And, for a reasonable cost and a few minutes, she could have it! WOW! The joy and exhilaration I felt inside from being able to help this beautiful woman feel even more beautiful was so uplifting and satisfying. Non-surgical rhinoplasties are quickly becoming my most favorite thing I do with fillers. And, the before and after photos were incredible.

One of the greatest benefits of non-surgical rhinoplasty is that the procedure unlike surgery is completely reversible and if a patient is unsatisfied for any reason, an enzyme can quickly and easily be injected to dissolve the dermal filler.
